05 500 wont start several problems

I have very similar symptoms to another thread on here. https://www.fordforum.com/forum/ford...o-power-26082/ The other thread does not have a final fix so I am asking for help. If it does start and run, with wide open throttle it will only reach 2000 RPM. When car is running at it's max RPM of 2000 it "Knock's" like timing is out of whack! The fuel filter has been changed, pcv valve and hose has been checked, new air filter, egr valve cleaned and checked, throttle body seems to move fine.

Check engine light on and wrench illuminated for limp home mode

At the current time I have a ton of fault codes
P0102

Also the intake is melted where the egr valve air returns into the intake. I beleive that is a clogged catalytic converter issue.

Where should i start. Thanks in advance.

2005 five hundred 120000 miles

my 2007 ford fivehundred will crank but will not start. I had an issue with the upper intake manifold having a whole in it so I replaced it with a new one. The plastic intake had a hole near the EGR valve so I also put a new EGR valve on. after reassembly of ALL hoses and lines I can not get the car to start. looks like ive got the same issue as you

Did you ever get it resolved? if so how? thanks

My mom has a 2005 Ford Five Hundred 40k miles And the back up lights were on when in park or driving. And the dash lights did not come on. They replaced the battery and alternator. And a week later the car won’t start now. It has been connected to the computer 3 times and shows no codes.
