Ford Five Hundred No Crank No turn

2005 Ford Five Hundred will start by tapping starter with screwdriver. Won't Crank or turn when turning ignition key. All fuses checked.

Same

My mom has a 2005 Ford Five Hundred 40k miles And the back up lights were on when in park or driving. And the dash lights did not come on. They replaced the battery and alternator. And a week later the car won’t start now. It has been connected to the computer 3 times and shows no codes.

Starter, of course. Easy access to replace.

Hi Harold,

When you get a chance you might look at the date of the post, by the time we answer they probably either had the problem corrected and didn't bother to share the fix OR sold /traded the vehicle.
Have a good day !
