How to replace a tone ring
 

It looks like we have a problem with the frond driver side tone ring on my 2006 ford five hunderd SEL all wheel drive car.


We looked online to see how to replace them but I only seem to find info on other Ford types not on five hundreds. Not sure if they are the same or if the five hundred all wheel drive are different.

Any information and specifications on how to get to the tone ring and how to replace them would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I changed my passenger side CV axle and it did not have a tone ring on it. I believe the tone ring is built into the wheel bearing.
