i have an 06 five hundred with 3.0 and 6 speed trans with just under 150000 miles. runs good-wonder if anyone has any low budget ways to squeeze more power out of this. im not looking to go to the track, just looking for more get up and go for a commuter car.

Hello Davey, I have tried putting premium fuel in the tank and it definitely runs better. I have also noticed that moving the pedals closer allows quicker throttle response. To tell you the truth, I recently changed my spark plugs and cleaned the throttle body although I am getting better gas mileage it has not made any noticeable difference in acceleration. My first two suggestions however made a little difference in acceleration. Take as it were. Good luck to you.
