Where is the water leak? 05 Ford 500 limited

I noticed floor boards getting wet on passenger side. I thought it was the rubber seal around the door but it's not!

Its coming from the area behind the fuel reset panel but not from the door. It must be the side if the engine hood but I'm sitting here in the rain trying to figure it out. Have no garage and don't really want to leave the hood open in the rain. I also noticed it's getting a wire harness wet behind the fuel reset which I'm thinking could be the cause of my instrument panel being intermittent, as it only happens after rain.

Anyone experience this? For now I shoved some rags in certain spots to see what gets the most wet.

Thank you

Feel under the cowl for two rubber drain spouts that get clogged with leaves and gunk, one on pass side and on drivers side,, just yank them out and throw them in the trash. When they get clogged water cannot drain from the cowl and enters the vehicle through the ac air inlet.

With the assistance of a helper, I would gently apply water with a garden hose while you are are looking around the affected area.

Thank you. I was able to peek in there and saw some leaves near the air intake. Couldn't really reach anything. Was trying to remove the cowl but the wiper arms are stuck on pretty good.

But I'll clean that out and then put a bead of sealant along the top of the cowl as it's probably leaking through that too.

You dont need to lift the cowl, put your hand against the firewall beneath the cowl panel and feel along there to find the drain plugs.
