Question Different tire size

Proud owner of a 09 Flex SEL. I know it's August, but already starting to think ahead to winter (I live in Maine, you have to forgive me).

I have a set of winter tires in good condition that I used on a Chrysler 300. Their size is 225/60/18. The Flex currently has the original size tires 235/60/18. I'm hoping I can use the winter tires on the Flex as there is only a 10mm difference in width.

Will this work? Any disadvantages?

That size will work just fine. You're only talking about 3/8" total difference in height and width. Being a snow tire, it's probably the same height as snows tend to run taller due to more tread depth vs. an All-Season tread.

As long as all 4 wheels will be the same size you shouldn't have any problem.
But you may want to blindfold your truck because it may shiver knowing tires came from you know what.

Different tire sizes are directly have a relation with engine power and vehicle performance so we should very much conscious more before choosing a tire size.
