My wife drivesa 2000 ford focus zts that has issues. Well, the fans quit working so I traced down the problem down to the resistor assembly was burned out. So I replaced it. It worked fine but then 6 months later it's burned out again. Any suggestions?? It's about a $80 piece and I don't want to keep replcing it. There has to be a problem somewhere.

 

Is there any water getting into the heater system?

 

I'm sure there is, the heat blows hot.
