Hey guys, I've been struggling the last few weeks on and off trying to reinstall my transmission. The clutch burned out and was time to replace, so I did that. It was an absolute nightmare removing the tranny. In fact! I'm having the same issue I had when I removed it. The suspension cross member keeps getting in the way. I've seen videos and read forums where some guys either removed it or loosed it for clearance. I tried this approach but, not only were the bolts on there super tight, I stripped one of them so, this option is no longer valid for me.

I've tried bench-pressing this darn thing in and I still can't freaking get it there. It's as if I have no clearance for anything! I feel so defeated that, it's getting to the point where I might consider hiring someone to put it back in there for me. I've attached some pictures to give some ideas as to where am at with it.
