This car has 124000 miles on it.When I first looked at it,the engine would start then almost die and then rev up by its self then return to idle.The cel showed po2004 (?) flow control stuck open (I think).I replaced the pcv hose and valve and replaced the intake manifold after the effort to replace the pcv system under it.The cel code hasn't come back but now it won't idle .The engine backfires thru the intake close to idle rpm.I'm going to look for a vacuum leak soon.I changed the fuel filter while planning to try to check fuel pressure but I haven't been able to tap in with my gage(no shrader valve).I took the quick connect off the fuel rail and tried a tee adapter but the quick connect didn't seal completely. How does a person test fuel pressure on this engine? Also where do I get the U shaped clips that hold the fuel line connectors on.What I've bought at the parts store don't seem to fit.
