2014- Mystery Problem

Hello, all. Looking for some input and possibly some guidance. I have a 2014 Focus that just hit 52,000 miles. About ten days ago, I went out to start my car only to find that my battery was seemingly dead. After getting a jump, the car started, but later when I turned the ignition off and removed my keys....lo and behold the engine continued to run for about 10 minutes until it died itself out. Again and again I would start my car and then switch it off only to have the engine continually run. Once it finally petered out again, I left it to deal with the next day. The next morning, my car was completely dead. I had my car towed to the dealership where it has been for 8 days and no one can figure out what is going on. So far they have replaced he battery, the transmission control module and performed a "pinpoint" test to no avail. They have brought in a Ford engineer and a Master Technician and no one can get to the bottom of it. Has anyone else experienced this? Please help. I'm at wit's end and beginning to feel as if there is some major defect in the car. Thanks for any help.
Kristi
