Car has been serviced but engine warning is still around

A week ago (that I noticed) my car started getting a reading saying "Power Steering Failure" when i'd turn it on in the morning and the engine light went on.

I've had a major serviced and they said the ford is in fantastic condition and they didn't find anything wrong with it. Got it back, they'd reset the dashboard lights.

Then this morning I went to turn on the car to go to work and the screen again says "Power Steering Failure" and on the way back (after about 40 km) the engine light came on again.

My car has had NO problems, the steering is really nice, there's no odd noises, no leaks and the oils are all topped up.

If it wasn't giving me these lights i wouldn't think twice for anything being wrong at all.

This is a 2005 ford focus 2.0 Trend.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

So this is a 2005 FOCUS with a message that states POWER STEERING FAILURE Displayed. I just checked all the messages on this vehicle and none pop up for having that concern. If you bring it to the dealer they can scan your system and find any CMDTC's or CONTINOUS MEMORY DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES that have been stored in the system. I don't know why this message would display in the first place due to a 2005 has nothing to do with electric steering unless we are talking about the wrong vehicle.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

The dealer didn't find any faults on the car, the engine light is to do with a temprature gage in the engine and said he can order me the part but it isn't urgent (does that sound logical to you?)
They said they did a full diognostics and nowhere did any error for power steering failure show up. But on the little screen where the milage is once in awhile it says 'POWER STEERING FAILURE'.
They offered to do full diognistics again but insist it does not show up on the readout.

You could have a power steering pressure sensor that is acting up on you. There could also be an issue with the electro-hydraulic power steering unit. Have you noticed any difference in how the steering acts when driving the Focus thu its normal paces?

How would they pick that up?
I'm tempted to take it to a different servicing center as they didn't notice anything.
The car still feels the same as the day I bought it.

The engine light was linked to an external temperature gauge outside the engine I'll have replaced at a different center this year.
