Focus 1.8 Duratec running issue

Hi Guys.

I have recently bough a Focus series 2 (2007) with the 1.8 Mazda sourced engine.

The car runs very well mostly, but I think it may have a slight running issue.

The car occasionaly has a small lump on Idle, and when cold the gas pedal seems more senstive then it should be. Once the car is up to operating temperature it is fine, but I have also noticed a very slight hesitation when accelerating.

I have chaged the spark plugs, they all appeared the correct colour, and I have had a good look at the pipework and I haven't spotted any obvious splits or air leaks.

The temperature gauge sits on the correct mark on the gauge.

I don't think this is a serious issue, but it is rather annoying.

Do any of you good people here have any ideas to where I should look first?

The car recently passed it's annual emmisions check with no problems.
