we own a 2006 focus. love it.my problem is in the heater/ac controls.the dash **** turns freely but doesn't change the air flow.i pulled the bottom dash section off and turned the switch noticing that the mechinism that opperates air flow isn't moving.HELP! Idon't know here to go from here.

 

Yea!My son, who by the way is strictly a chevy man,found the problem.It seems the dash control is operated by a cable system.By removing the cover plate on the dash front you gain access to all the controls.We removed the faulty cable control and 42.00 dollars later all was well.Easy fix.
