near side mirror

Some kind person has attempted to break off my n/s door mirror.
The mirror was pushed in towards the window, yet it was still snapped. The cable is still connected giving power to the motor and heating element. Do I need a complete replacement or can I replace the hinge fixing. Any ideas out there? Its a 2003 Zetec btw.

Thanks.

RE: near side mirror

Those mirrors are not "fold away" and usually need replaced when broken. You could also try to repair it with FUSOR plastic weld that works well.

RE: near side mirror

Have used Plastic Padding steel weld to fix the mirror back in place, so thanks for the advice Jessman.
Oh, and on our Focus, the wing mirors do fold away.

Thanks for the help.
