Can I use castrol Dex/Merc on my 2004 Ford Focus manual transmission instead of the Motorcraft which is $24/per bottle?

Check your owners manual I believe it specifies this spec for 5 speed manual trans, WSD-M2C200-C .
If the container says the lube meets that spec, it should be OK.
