Remapping 1.0 Ecoboost Ford Focus: is it worth it?
Hi all!
I’m not much of a mechanic or car genius. I bought my 2015 Ford Focus ecoboost turbo months ago and I love it. Sexy white and sleek car and drives well. But I can’t shake the feeling of wanting to go faster and accelerate quicker. I’ve had a quick talk with a garage about remapping my car and the system they use is Revo Software and they are an authorised dealer of Revo. He’s said that the car would increase to 148-168 bhp & 210-230 nm.
I’ve searched the internet about it but i’d Like to get the opinion of Ford users who loves it.
Im really considering remapping rather than buying a new faster car. But i was made aware that there might be problems with remapping 1.0 ecoboost.
I’d appreciate it if you could also avoid answers like “why buy the 1.0 if wanted a faster car” I didn’t think it bother me this much and as much as i love it, I just have this urge to want a faster torque.
Thank you in advance!
