04 Freestar

Hi. I just bought a used freestar and immediatly had to spend 1100.00 on the air to be fixed and still it doesnt blow cold at all when you idle. even if you been driving for 39 minutes and just stop at a stop light it gets warm. whats wrong?

If you spent $1100.00 to get the A/C fixed and it still is not fixed, the you got bent over big-time! Take that vehicle back to whoever fixed it and demand that it get fixed properly or get some of your money back.

Your a/c charge could also be the culprit. On a similar experience I got my AC compressor changed also.

You spend $1100 and still not fixed properly? I sometimes have to question someones mind. People return stuff to Walmart for things that cost a few dollars and do not work and here we have a person spending $1100 and he questions what he should do. My advise is bring to van back and leave it untill you are satisfied with the A/C and if it takes too long phone the BBB and your radiostation and complain, complain. If this place happens to be a Ford dealer get in touch with Ford Customer relations.
