Default 05 electrical issues

I just picked up a 2005 Freestar SES. It has a few electrical problems, but is otherwise solid.

The power mirrors only go down in on both sides. Seems like maybe it's the switch control?

Power locks only function on the drivers door. All others won't move up or down with the door button or remote.

The vent windows won't move. I can hear a click on one direction, other direction nothing. I don't know which way is open though.

It also has a shudder in overdrive on occasion, but I need to change fluid to rule out that.

And I just remembered, I'm heading a high pitched noise at times, but it doesn't seem to vary with speed. Seems like it's there or not while driving.

Someone probably left the windows open (including the rears) in the rain. The mirror switch, door lock actuators, and rear window motors likely all got wet and have failed. You're likely looking at replacing them all.

Have the occasional high-pitched screaming in my 2006 freestar SEL. Seems to maybe be the drivers side rear vent motor but I haven't pulled the paneling off to investigate because it's only intermittent. Did you find what is causing it?

Suggest starting at the switch that controls that window. Should have power to switch , but no power going out unless switch is activated. Lets see what you find there.
