2004 Freestar - window / driver door panel

The driver side power window on my 2004 limited Freestar has stopped working. The window appears to be disengaged from the mechanism that moves it. I want to open up the interior door panel to examine the problem, but I can not figure out how to remove the interior panel.

I found 2 bolts at the botton, 2 screws on the outside near the latching device, and found another screw under the power controls. There appears to be something holding the panel on at the top right corner where the 3 buttons are that set the seat memory.

Any assistance or diagrams would be greatly appreciated !!!

Cheers

The mirror access cover 'snaps' on to the door shell.. There's a screw behind the access panel for the upper trim panel attachment.. See if this diagram helps..

Thank you Hayapower. I was positive there was another bolt, but that access cover seemed very tight and I was worried about breaking it. Any advice onhow to getthe panel off properly, I don't want to break the tabs off or anything foolish.

I'll give it an attempt when my wife brings the gas guzzler home ; )

Cheers

Once the screws are removed,, 'lift' the door panel up and then off without pulling it away from the door shell.. The panel has 'legs' that drop into the door shell openings.. The mirror access panel is pretty stout, just give it a good pull straight out..
