2006 Ford Freestar-Front washer pump won't work
Hey all, I have a 2006 Ford Freestar with a front window washer that doesn't turn on. Weird thing is, front and rear wipers work by themselves, back window washer works, but if you press in the wand to turn on the front washer nothing happens, no wash no wipers. We've checked fuses and they're all fine, replaced the front pump, and the wand itself to no avail.. no change. For the record...it's not below freezing.
Additionally, we've tested power at the pump – where I read voltage only when turning on the rear washer. At the fuse box, I read power for the following:
We've seen in an old posting that the wiper motor has a relay built in, possibly explaining why the rear pump would work but not the front (in that posting). Could that be the problem or has anyone heard/experienced anything similar to this? Thanks!
