i already check all of them in the Hood and Inside van down to steering Wheel one by one.
According to my search, the problem is supposed to be with the button on steering wheel. Today i ran 70Km of distance to reach one place where the guy is offering his freestar 2005 van parts because he got problem with transmission so he dont want to repair so selling the parts for cheap price.
i went there and change the button with his steering Wheel button and even i put his steering Wheel to my van, all this job for no result. cruise control still not work, i dont even see the light.
When you put key in your car/van, turn ignintion switch to On position, Just before crancking engine, do you guys see the little light for cruise control for few second or we are not supposed to see it until we are not driving on x speed?

There is a clockspring under the steering wheel that brings info to the switches on the steering wheel. If the spring has a break in it , info may not be getting to the switches.
I would first determine if power is at the plug going up to the switches from the cruise fuse.
Also some systems will not allow cruise to be engaged if the switch that is activated when stepping on the brake pedal is defective /misadjusted and it thinks the brakes are being applied and disengages cruise. Some systems use a hydraulic controlled switch on the master cyl and some use the stoplite switch.

Ok lets start to check if Cruise fuse is getting/sending power or not.
i have this multimeter, tell me where should i adjust it and where to touch on fuse.

in my steering Wheel there are 6 buttons, 3 for media on right side and 3 for cruise control on left side.
all of three media button work well but none of cruise button work at all.
i mean to say if problem is with clock spring so the three media buttons should not work also.

Ahhh , wires fool all of us sometimes and reason doesn't always apply.
If there is only one broken wire of the several in the clock spring that function will not work correctly if at all.

Common issue with the Freestar cruise no working is the Cruise Control Cutout Switch on the master cylinder. About $15-20 and 10 minutes to replace with no fluid loss.

i know this how to change it, it is not big deal. but the problem is i am not getting any cruise control Light at all, i mean when i put the key in the ignition switch, turn the key on ON position, turn the key to RUn position, all other lights get ON like Battery, Air bag, engine for a few seconds, than i crank the engine and all lights get turn OFF. in this whole process i dont see the CC light not for even a one second. so i was thinking maybe the problem is somewhere else with electronic component. if i pay 20$ and buy a new one than it doesn't work also so i loose money. That s why i want to make sure what is the problem before buying anything just by guess.
THanks
