Ford freestar fuel problem

I need some help guys, my 2004 freestar 3.9 keeps blowing the fuel pressure regulator, fuel is coming out of the exhaust pipe, I replaced the fuel pressure regulator 4 times, two Bosch and the last two factory motorCraft and they keep going bad , the scanner is only picking up two codes, one for the front right tire speed sensor, the other one P1000 Protocol code , what can make the fuel pressure regulator to blow up constantly like that.

Excessive fuel pressure could be one.
Suggest you have someone with a good scan tool check what pressure is actually being developed.
