instrument panel light bulbs

Hi everyone !!! I own a 2005 freestar and some light bulbs on the inst. panel are burn, I'm looking to change them to LED but I need to know what type of bulb it use. I know if I pulled the panel I'll find this info., but I'm trying to save some time.

Call a FORD PARTS DEPARTMENT, ask them can i have the PART NUMBER of a INSTRUMENT CLUSTER BULB. and cross check it online to whatever you need.

they original lighting is probably leds.

Do a search for instrument cluster repair on ebay. There are vendors there who sell the parts you will need and will complete the repair if required. Their online stores lists what clusters they have parts for.

Most dealers send out this type of work to special repair facilities like york electronics.

Instrument Panel Light Bulbs

There are 5 illumination bulbs mounted on the circuit board. Part Number is YL3Z-13B765-AB which is replaced by CA suffix. These are bulb and socket assemblies and are NOT available in the aftermarket. Use of any other bulb may result in overheating the circuit board. Since the original bulb specs are not available, get them from the Ford dealer.
