Well, getting the Freestar ready for another road trip from NY to AZ and back. Presently have 134,436 miles on the van and 100,000 miles on the NGK TR55IX Iridium spark plugs.

Replaced them with a new set this week-end and went thru my brakes like I do every spring and fall due to our "SALT" season.

The plugs were eroded to an average gap of .087 or 2.2mm for you metric friends. This explained the "Idle Hunting" that I was experiencing as it cleared up after replacing the plugs.

This time I installed the plugs with Loctite's Nickle anti-sieze. And I re-gap the new plugs for .052 as they came with a gap setting of .060
