P0201 and misfiring

Please I need urgent assistance. I got my used 2004 Ford Freestar. There is a engine misfiring and when scanned code P0201 saying open circuit in cylinder number one. Can someone help me in the way out

Ok so P0201 is a circuit fault for the cylinder 1 fuel injector.
See if you can get a noid light from those auto part store loaner tool programs. This will tell if the injector is bad.
Voltage is supplied to the injectors by fuse 43 in the bussed electrical center.
The PCM supplies a ground when it wants a injector to open.
I believe you will need to remove the intake manifold to access this injector. I think you have to do the same to replace the spark plugs so it may be worth doing that while the intake manifold is off. Use motorcraft spark plugs.

Wrong coil

Thank you so much. Fault rectified. Found out the coil replacement was with a wrong one. Got exactly an Freestar coil and it worked
