Default Strange door issue

Hey, all. This is my first post here. My issue is this: I have a 2005 Freestar. My wife left the key in the ignition and in run position for about 1/2 the day. Battery died. I jumped it off and everything was fine-- I thought. Now I can no longer open the sliding doors or liftgate via the remotes or the overhead console. Otherwise they still open via buttons by the doors or by pulling them.

I have disconnected battery. I have performed reset on instrument panel. I have reprogrammed both remotes. Nothing works. I don't even hear any clicking when I push the remote buttons to open the doors. The door lock/unlock still work fine. Help.

Have you followed the door reset instructions in the owners manual? Not for the key faub but the actual doors themselves. The dash reset on resets the display panel.

I don't have an owner's manual, but I will look it up online. Thanks.

I just looked up the reset procedure in the Owner's Manual. It is not applicable because part of the procedure is to open the PSD with the overhead console button and the overhead console buttons will not open the door. Only the buttons by the door.

Just my 2 cents here... I had the same problem where the doors stopped working. I tried the reset and checked the fuses and nothing worked. I took it to my mechanic and they looked it over. Turns out a fuse was bad. I would suggest start replacing the fuses dealing with the doors, even if they look good. One of them is probably bad.

Well, after about a month of having the door issue, they started working again. I guess I'll have to wait until they stop to try and derive a pattern.
