Timing Belt Question

Whats a good mileage to change it? I have an '06 4.2L SEL. It has 104,500 miles on it.

If to your knowledge it has never been changed, DO IT NOW!!!

.....Well, now I'm reading online, these vans have chains- not belts.

Can someone confirm?

No belt on a 4.2

Hayapower, thanks for correcting my error regarding the belt when I should have known it had a chain.

They do have a serpentine drive belt. It should come due soon.

there are not belts on ford vans, timing belts are for jap crap vans not for fords, ford use chains.
