I own a 2006 Freestar 4.2L manufactured for Canada sales. I have a pinhole leak in a line which I believe to be part of the transmission cooling that runs from the upper radiator area (drivers side) down and along the bottom of the radiator area (pictures attached) and it comes up the passenger side and connects into the compressor. I am unable to locate schematics for this specific line and the auto parts stores including NAPA, Canadian Tire do not have drawings either and cannot tell me what it's called. I believe I would need to replace that cylinder as well unless it is all one piece. I have attached 2 pictures and I am hoping a forum member can assist me in determining what this part(s) called and can the repair/replacement be done by the home mechanic. I am assuming it could be a 'DEALER ONLY' repair which in my case I hope it is not. I appreciate any help and thanking you all in advance.
