2008 Ford Fusion

Does anyone know about any problem with the throttle body sticking. I was having problems w/the accelerator sticking. They cleaned the throttle body but that did not get rid of the problem. They next replaced the throttle body but when I accelerated quickly on the highway it stuck again and I could not get it unstuck for a while. It was very scary and I almost crashed into the car in front of me because breaking it would not completely slow down the car with the throttle wide open. I am bringing the car back to Ford tomorrow. Could it be that the throttle body they replaced the original one with is bad?

I believe that your Fusion uses an electronic throttle control (cableless throttle). Since you have had 2 throttle body assemblies, I would suspect either the gas petal assembly, an electrical issue or an issue with the computer control for the throttle.
