I have a 2013 Fusion that I bought used from Hertz Car Sales. It came with the owners manual along with a bunch of other booklets and cards that were in the glovebox. I read on-line that the door code was either on a sticker under the dash and/or printed on the manual or some card within the manual. Does anybody know where I might find this code? The Ford dealer seems to want $$$ for giving up any info.

It should be on a white sticker somewhere under the dash on the driver's side, either above the brake pedal or near the fuse box next to the door. Might be hard to find.

There should be instructions in the manual on how to set your own code

 

Thanks. I just crawled under there and found 3 stickers. Nothing on or near the fuse box. One of them is a white sticker on the upper arm of the brake pedal with some numbers on it but it doesn't look like a combo. It is (Not actual) P1234 654321 format. In other words, a letter followed by 4 numbers a space followed by 6 numbers. Does this translate into the door combo somehow? The owners manual states that it is a 5 digit code. So, these #s make no sense.

 

I found the card in the envelope in the glovebox. It has the 5 digit code on it and it works!!!

I looked in the envelope initially but did not see the card.
