2016 fusion sync issues
Hello everyone, I am hoping I have bad information or am overlooking something. I recently bought a 2016 fusion titanium edition without built in navigation. When I boight it I was told I could sync my phone with the car for navigation. While rhisnisnt a deal breaker it is definitley a perk that I assume is standard in cars now. When I tried the sync route I found out that sync services are discontinued and I can't get maps or navigation to display in my car. The only fixes I seem to find are to juat uae my cell phone ( which I do in other cars) or tth some crazy aftermarket hacking and risk measing up the car.
My question here is, are those really my only 2 options!? I can't believe a 2016 car cant link up with my phone for navigation but can for all other modes. I feel like I am taking a big step backwards when I put my phone up in the window for maps. Sync services used to work but since they have been discontinued it seems I am left without any replacement options. Android auto starts workong with 2017 Fords.... Go figure |
