A/C Not Working? Here's Why...
This is a very often overlooked reason why the A/C is not working on a Ford Fusion unless you know the Brand. If you find your A/C is not working this year I would take a hard look at the Evap Temp Sensor as shown in the video, they rot out and the pcm thinks the Evap is at -40 and will not allow the A/C to come on. As stated in the video I have not seen any other issues with A/C systems in Fusions except for this sensor so it is worth a look!

I Have A 07 Fusion That Keeps The Driver Side 2 Vents Cold For About 5 Mins On And Off. You Think This Sensor Is Causing It To Do This? The Passenger Side Vents Dont Get Cold At All.

The compressor turns most the time, but what would cause the ac to kick on and off. You can hear it tick on the left side near the floor. Like maybe the compressor turns on and off ever few mins. Weres the temp actuator

Is the blend actuator under the steering column?

Sounds like its coming from the passenger side. And like i said the driver side is only cold for a few seconds... Maybe a minute at the most. Then it goes to warmer air then it goes to cold again. And like i said.its only cold on the driver side vents

Ok i said it makes a clicking sound. I drove it today and its more of a hissing sound. It does the.sound and gets cold. Then does it again end gets warm...

That really sounds like the txv is sticking at times and flooding evap.

Txv? The refrigerant level is fine when the pump kicks in.
