Tech Q - Keyless Entry Keypad
 

I recently bought an 09’ Ford Fusion SE, I bought a model that was already on the lot and had everything I wanted except the ‘keyless entry keypad’. I have been looking on fordowner.com to order a keypad but they only show it offered in black (part # 7L2Z-14A626-BA). I have seen fusion with color matched keypads and I’m wondering if you can order a color matched keypad anywhere. My color code is UI – Brilliant Silver. If anyone knows anything any info would be helpful.
Also, the shop manuals for my car show that the key pad connects to a wiring harness in the door, does anyone know if that wiring harness exists in cars that did not come from the factory with a keypad?
