I have a 2002 Mustang GT convertible completely stock
what's the HP rating? i've heard conflicting information. Is it 260hp or 230 or other?

What size is the engine? Anything that new you could probably call your local dealer and ask a question.

If you want the actual horsepower at the wheels you'll need a dynamometer though.

I'll bet the difference you've got is between the actual dyno. horsepower and the rating ascalculated on paper.
