94 mustang egr

i have a 94 mustang gt thet has a mild build, pushing 300 hp plus, when i bought the car all the mods were done and i got a really good deal,it had the air pump, and i deleted it,i also removed the air, cruise becouse the airbags were blown,so i put custom steering wheel on,and i removed charcoal canister, relocated battery to trunk, added roll cage, and driveshaft loop, going to keep it fuel injected but plan on doing motor work over winter would like to see about getting 500 to 550 rwhp, before nitrous, the problem im having is the tube from the egr to headers is snapped off, want to remove but need to see what kind of effects it will have, ive heard that the 94 computer doesnt have a programer available, and not sure about doing the trick the computer thing, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

You are correct, you can not get a programmer for a '94 GT. You can get a performance module (chip), but it is a pre programmed chip.

I would refer you to the gang at www.mustangforums.com to see what they say about the EGR removal and tricing the computer to buy it.
