Default Anyone trailer these cars

I am looking to buy a 1996 mustang and want to know how it fits on trailers. I'm worried about the gound clearance on the top of the trailer ramp. I have a 21' gooseneck low boy trailer (6' ramp and 20" deck height), and am looking at upgrading to a dual tandem deck over trailer with a 5' dovetail (10' ramp and 38" or so deck height.

Will this car fit?

I dont' trailer mine, but I have had it on a semi trailer twice during relocations for my job. It's a 94, so it is a similar body to what you are looking at. The only issue in getting it on the trailer was the nose wanted to hit the ramp before the tires. The solution was to lay down some 2x4's at the base of the ramps so the tires would run up on them to get the nose up in the air before the front tires got on the ramp. Keep in mind that a lower trailer that a semi trailer may not have this issue because the ramp angle isn't as steep.

Hope that helps somewhat. You should just drive it anyway, it's more fun!
