That’s because people get behind the wheel of a new Ford Mustang in order to go on the ride of their life. Unfortunately, we don’t know a whole lot about the engine choices of the new Ford Mustang lineup at Brandon Ford in Tampa, FL, at this point in time. But we do know one very important piece of information, and that’s that the all-new 2019 Ford Mustang lineup will have a V8 engine option. More specifically, it will offer a 5.0-liter V8 engine capable of pumping out 460 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque – both of which are higher ratings than what was offered by the 2018 Ford Mustang and its V8 engine option. This powertrain also features a rev-matching 6-speed manual transmission and the ability to top out at 155 miles per hour. There will also be an available Performance Package that ups the fun even more.
