I can disconnect anything in my car and the check engine light will not go on.

I bet the bulb is out! [hr]Try to turn the key in the on position do you see the light lit?[hr]If not replace the bulb and get those code's read and you will find the problem.[hr]Also 2000 RMP is to high see if there is anything holding the throttle open.[hr]And if there is a idle screw lower it.

No the bulb isn't out. When I turn the key to ON it comes on. The gas pedal is fine 'cause in neutral the car is fine. One quick question though, if the valves are sticking, either one, intake or exhaust, would it cause this problem? Thanks.

No I dont think so.[hr]If you look at the throttle body where the idle set screw goes does it rest along it when the throttle is closed?[hr]Basicly what im trying to say is the throttle closed all the way at idle?
