Need 2005 Mustang GT Production Info.
New to this forum and looking for some help from the members. On one of these FORD forums there was a Lady (possibly a Ford Employee) that could take your VIN number and provide you with all sorts of information about the production of your Mustang. I am trying to determine what number off the line my 2005 Mustang GT is, specifically in relation to the GT model. My VIN places this car in the first 1600 produced. My 05 GT is missing some GT parts that were supposedly not available when the car was built (Sill plates with brushed aluminum inserts, Matching Red Carpeted floor mats etc.) the Window sticker also indicates “Vehicle Not For Sale” Where the MSRP would normally be found. As the story goes, this was a pre-release production car shown at numerous Ford Dealerships up and down the East coast. “Vehicle Not For Sale” in the window sticker as the Car was being shown prior to the official release date for this model. This all seems to be accurate as I saw the original vehicle Title when I purchased the CAR from Mountain View Ford in Chattanooga, TN in Mid 2005. The rear of the title had a list of Ford Dealerships that had previously held the car. Due to the history surrounding this Mustang, it lives its life as a Garage Queen with rare outings (4K original miles). So, looking for some assistance tracking down the individual that can unlock the build history from the VIN.
