Rear Diff Gear ratio
 

Tryin to figure out what is the gear ratio in my rear Diff on my 94 gt.
Been lookin all over to figure out what ratio off the tag numbers on it, but havent had any success.
Numbers are as follows:
S229B
3L27 88 3M22

Look on the VC label in the door jamb.. Match the ratio tocode listed on the VC label.. Unless the rear diff has been changed should be accurate..

3L27 should mean a limited-slip 3.27 rearend, but I was under the impression that 3.08 was the most 94/95 GT got.

I have had my 94 gt vert since it was new. I have always been finding odd ball things about it. like the serp belt. when i went to replace it the first time the gt belt from the auto parts store would not fit. I had to use a cobra serp belt on it instead.
