The battery went dead on my daughters 2002 Mustang. After I charged it up the alarm starting going off every time I touch the car. It shows "theft" flashing on the dash. In order to shut off the alarm I need to pull the ground cable off the battery. This car has an after market command start on it. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and what is required short of selling the car to get the alarm off.

 

In the manual it should tell you what the procedure is. Otherwise, try locking and unlocking the car with the key fob first.
