'75 Pinto question

I am looking for any info on what I can do to make the pinto fast. What kind of performance parts can I get? Where do I look for them? I want to build a motor over the winter but not sure where to start looking for parts to enhance the power of the car. I want to keep it a 2.3 Thanks!

You can get work done to the head like shave it for a little more compression as well as vaulve work mabey do some carbarator tweak's.Or preformance plugs.Or mabey a camshaft,or a k&n air filter to make it breath better. How many mile's are on this antique?
