95 5.0 with AOD swap for something else
 

My son has taken over my 92 F150 ext cab XLT Long bed. Tranny is now dead. The block was acting funny beforehand. The door sticker says Trans: "T" From what I have found this means it's AOD.

He wants to Cam the truck. I assume other mods will need to be made?
Possibly looking at the Explorer Sport 5.0 as a swap I believe it's MFS ready.
I am planning to call around tomorrow...I was a rotary guy. I don't have much turn time on pistons.
I guess what I need help with is making this work lol. Is it feasible to swap the 92 5.0 for the Explorer Sport what about a Boss from that year? What about the Trans and ECU/PCU? I assume these are a concern.
