04' Ranger revving problem
 

ok, i have a ranger with a manual transmission that wont drop down RPMs aftrer shifting. once i get to the up shift point, i will push in the clutch and my engine keeps revving around 2500 or so and wont drop back till about 5-10 seconds after i get off the gas.

Any helpful suggestion would be great

Did you check to see if the accelerator linkage is sticking and may just require some lubrication?
If that is OK, then you might check for a vacuum leak at one of the hoses or the throttle body.
