I have a head unit from my last car that i want to put in my '89 Ranger. I have no idea how to take my stock radio out. i took out every screw i could find and it still wont come out. Is there a trick to getting it out? Please HELP!

RE: 1989 Ranger

There should be 2 holes on each side of the stereo, right on the face. There is a tool that slips into these holes and releases the radio. Its simply called a Ford Radio Removal Tool, and you can get it at Best Buy, HH Gregg, Circuit City, possibly even Wal Mart, for about $7.
