2003 3.0 2wd ranger custom fuel ystems

Swapping a 3.0 motor and transmission from 2003 ranger into a 59 rambler american. I have several questions that I think the pros here can help me with.
1. I will not be useing the ranger in tank fuel pump so I will need to run an external high pressure pump with an adjustable regulator with a return to tank because the stock system is returnless. Does the computer regulate the pressure depending on engine demands much like a Vacuum diaphram on the fuel rail would normally do?
2. I have the complete harness so I know there are a few things I won't need or don't care to use like the evap system, gauges and who knows what else. Can somebody tell me exactly which wires off the cab harness I need to connect to what. I'm thinking the simpler the better. I've heard it can be done with 4 wires?
3. Is there a speed sensor on the rearend that will effect anything other than the ABS?
Thanks guys/gals.
Justin
