Default 2004 Ranger brakepad wear problems

My 2004 Ranger is wearing the breakpads unevenly. The outside pads on both front brakes were worn almost to the metal, but the both inside pads were almost new. I'm at a loss for why only one side of both calipers seems to be pressing against the rotor. Has anyone else had this problem?

When replacing brake pads, check the anchor/guide caliper pins for 'free' movement.. If needed,, clean and lube them with a brake hardware synthetic/graphite grease ect.. Check the pin boots for good seal as well.. If the pins drag, the caliper will drag the outter pads.. Also, replace them with OEM or 'application engineered' pads and not 'house' brand units..
