4banger manual clutch probs
 
my 19954 banger has 38 thousand miles in it. my clutch feels really bad it doesnt start to dissengage until its bout 2 inches from all the way let out. it doesnt slip but just has a really bad feel. maybe air in the fluid line? too much fluid?? please help!

Clutch is AUTO adjusting so normally one of two things. Clutch is almost worn out or slave cylinder is going bad. If the clutch has bever been replaced, or no fluid has been added to the reservoir and you see no fluid leaking from the bell housing area, thenI would suspect a worn clutch. You could try bleading the slave cylinder and get fresh fluid into it.
