96 ford ranger clutch problem

i just got this car it is a 96 and has 85000 miles on it. it has been sitting the past 2 years. i drove the car home from getting all the brake lines re done and it drove and shifted nicely when i got home and it was sitting in the drive way for about ten minutes i went to move it and the clutch wouldn't go down. i bleed the lines thinking air was trapped and that seemed to free up the clutch. the next day i drove it for about 8 miles and the clutch locked up again. any suggestions

Check the hose in the line from the clutch master cylinder to the clutch slave cylinder. Sounds like it has an obstruction in it.

check the throwout bearing ! there is a retainer that the throwout bearing runs on and it might have grooves cut in it and stopping the throwout bearing from sliding back and forth ! it also could be the the clutch cable is hanging up preventing the clutch pedal from working !
