MTX gives good bang for the buck and the custom made enclosures are not bad. They are pretty dependable but wont give the sound definition that a good made box out of three/quarter inch MDF would give you. MTX is a good brand but there are stronger subs out there. Try looking at Kicker's line of subs. They are extremely durable and normally don't require too awful much air space.

I also prefer the JL Audio subs. They seem to fit in the smallest spaces and still provide excellent sound quality.

...and if it doesn't fit, get the sawz-all out and cut away the back of your cab! Who says you can't put four 10" subs in a standard cab Ranger?

I have 4 Eclipse subs in my truck, I love thier quality/ sound. But if it were between JL and MTX, I'd go with JL all the way!

mtx in that model blow big chunks... you will not have that thump that you are looking for... i would go with a reg cab truck box and put a rockford fosgate 12" sub in there... it will cost a little less too... best buy should have everything you need
